Laneige Cream Skin Cerapeptide mist
I feel it is my duty and service to find a nice alternative to our beloved Dr Jart Ceramide Mist and I think Laneige are showing huge potential with this one.
It’s creamy, moisturising and has the lovely benefits ceramides (and peptides) have to offer!
I’ve been using this for a good few months now and so far it is doing a good job at replacing the Dr Jart mist in my routine. My skin feels hydrated with this and everything layers over it nicely.
A very important PSA about the packaging 🗣️ - There is the spray bottle of the mist which is only sold in the 30ml size (which, if you use it every day like I do feels TINY), there is ALSO a bigger bottle sold separately of the ‘toner & moisturiser’, which is not a spray bottle and that is 170ml. They are exactly the same product.
The ingredients list is exactly the same so if you like the spray bottle then I’d suggest getting the bottle once and then buying the bigger bottle and decanting it into the spray bottle, or just pat in the product from the bigger bottle (but I find that messy and more prone to waste!)
What is it meant to do for your skin?
Hydrate, strengthen skin barrier, improve elasticity, radiance and also help with soothing the skin
Key ingredients:
Ceramides and Peptides - for strenghtening skin barrier, elasticity and helping texture
Squalene - for hydrating and elasticity
White tea leaf extract - antioxidants that help with soothing the skin and helping with environmental stressors (think, pollution)
Hyaluronic acid - for hydration and elasticity
Vitamin E - antioxidant for protecting the skin and helping with regeneration
Camellia flower extract - antioxidants that help with soothing
How I use it:
Juuust like I did with the Dr Jart Mist! -
Either as my very first step after washing my face OR after a serum that has hyaluronic acid/niacinamide in (I usually put this on first as I like to start with my thinnest products but sometimes I choose chaos and mix it up)
On very hot/humid summer days, I might just use this and my SPF cream
After I've showered and I'm just faffing around at home, I'd spritz this on to hydrate my skin while still letting it breathe
What I love about it:
It’s creamy and hydrating enough to feel like it’s making a difference but not greasy or thick enough where products over it feel uncomfortable
What I don't love about it:
Nothing at all about the product itself. The spray bottle is very small, given it’s something I use so much it would be handy if it was bigger!
Does it clash with anything?
Not that I’ve found yet
