Embryolisse Lait-crème Concentré
Embryolissssten up, it’s never too lait!! There are few creams that you find yourself reaching for daily, or when you're not sure what else to put on or when you just want something simple but effective.
The Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser is one of them! I discovered this years ago through skincare blogs/review/articles that always hailed it as a cult classic.
I'd read that this was a fashion show/make-up staple where make-up artists used it both as a base/primer but also to help with removing make-up like a cold cream would.
I always find myself coming back to this. I used it for ages when I first discovered it years ago and then went away to try out other moisturisers then rediscovered my love for this. I’ve always got one in my skincare bag!
What is it meant to do for your skin?
- It has a rich, creamy texture that soothes and hydrates dry skin. Packed with fatty acids to help with protecting and plumping the skin. It became quite popular for make-up artists using it as a primer on models during fashion weeks!
How I use it:
I always use this after my Dr Jart Cream Mist and serum. This is usually my last step before SPF.
I use this as the moisturising/protecting step of my skincare. I use other ingredients to boost hydration or do the "active" stuff so I let this focus on just being a nice creamy cream when I want something soothing on my skin.
Sometimes at night if I don’t feel like putting anything else on my skin then I’ll just use this so I have something simple but still moisturising on
What I love about it:
It's very very simple but really does the job of hydrating and protecting the skin. It gives a lovely moisturised glow. In the winter, it feels nourishing enough (especially when layered with other products). In the summer you can use just a little bit and to me it doesn’t feel too heavy
What I don't love about it:
Nothing?? I've never had an issue with it
It's thhicc but you can use a very small amount to avoid feeling greasy
Does it clash with anything?
- Not with anything I've been using, this one plays nice with everyone (so far)
Where to buy:
Lots of places stock both 30ml and 75ml, my usual websites -
Just My Look (I’ve never bought from here but they have a sale on right now!)
