Dr Jart - Ceramidin Cream Mist - It will be mist!

*Heads up* This wonderful product is discontinued😭I've been using basically every day for almost 5 years and I would say I don't plan on stopping any time soon but Dr Jart have sadly discontinued it! So this is more to spread the word about this *type* of product because I am most definitely on the hunt for the closest product I can find! I absolutely love it and have even gifted it to many people (who have gone on to love it!)

Sorry I took 3 million years to publish this when it was still being produced 🥲promise I’ll help you find a nice alternative! That all being said, it’s still worth reviewing sooo…

The Dr Jart Ceramidin Cream Mist is a beautifully hydrating mist that is a wonderful base for any skincare routine, or even on its own for some basic but necessary hydration. It's creamier than mistier if that makes sense, so it feels like a hydrating step up from watery mists but a misty step down from a very runny lotion!

Honestly, if I could have this plumbed in and on tap, I would!

What is it meant to do for your skin?

  • Strengthen skin barrier to help you lock in that juicy water to hydrate your skin

Key ingredients:

  • Ceramides! Wonderful for hydrating and protecting your skin barrier

How I use it:

  • Either as my very first step after washing my face OR after a serum that has hyaluronic acid/niacinamide in (I usually put this on first as I like to start with my thinnest products but sometimes I choose chaos and mix it up)

  • On very hot/humid summer days, I might just use this and my SPF cream

  • After I've showered and I'm just faffing around at home, I'd spritz this on to hydrate my skin while still letting it breathe

  • This is one product I’ve literally used every day since discovering it

What I love about it:

It's SO simple but makes such a difference in how your skin feels. I can really feel my skin being hydrated and softened by this plus it gives a lovely dewy glow. It feels a little creamier than a normal mist (think creamy, not watery) and that allows me to use it in lieu of or layering with a thicker cream when I need to.

What I don't love about it:

Nothing???? Maybe that I didn't find it sooner 🤔. I found 'ceramides' quite late in my skincare journey so wish I had this in my 20s. It can be a little pricey too but in my opinion it's totally worth it.

Does it clash with anything?

Not that I've found yet, I've used it under Hyaluronic acid, retinol, glycolic acid, thiccc creams... all seem to play nice so far!

Where to buy:

Nowhere :( (you might still find some knocking around on Amazon or somewhere!)
